Spinach Burgers

Bring to a boil;
3 ½ c. water
2 vegetable bouillon cubes
1 T. browning sauce
2 t. smoke flavor (optional)
1 t. black pepper
1 T. basil

Reduce heat to low, add;
2 c. TVP crumbles
10 oz. bag of fresh spinach, chopped
1 c. instant oats

Cover and simmer 5 minutes stirring frequently.
Allow to cool for about 15 minutes
Measure into bread machine or dough mixer;
1 c. vital wheat gluten

Add spinach mixture and mix 10 - 15 minutes.
Make into patties and bake at 450’ on a lightly oiled or sprayed sheet tray for
12 - 15 minutes each side.
